What is the minimum age required to rent a vehicle?

To rent a vehicle with us, you must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license. We take your safety seriously, and that's why we have this policy in place. This requirement is in line with the Greek government's laws and regulations.

What documents do I need to rent a scooter motorbike?

For renting a scooter or motorbike in Greece, you will need a valid driver's license that allows you to operate a motorcycle. If you are a citizen of the EU, you can use your national driver's license. For non-EU citizens, you need an International Driving Permit (IDP) in addition to your national driver's license.

It's important to note that your driver's license should have a category ΑM, Α1, Α2 or A, which permits you to operate a motorcycle. Finally, it is recommended to bring a copy of your passport, just in case it is needed for identification purposes.

What documents do I need to rent a car?

If you would like to rent a car in Paros, Greece, you will need a valid driver's license that allows you to operate a car. If you are a citizen of the EU, you can use your national driver's license. For non-EU citizens, you need an International Driving Permit (IDP) in addition to your national driver's license.

It's important to note that your driver's license should have a category B, which permits you to operate a car. Finally, it is recommended to bring a copy of your passport, just in case it is needed for identification purposes.

Is a security deposit required before renting a vehicle?

For our scooter and car rentals in Paros, we do not require a security deposit from our customers. You simply need to pay an upfront payment to reserve your bike and the final payment for the rental cost at the time of pick up.

Do you provide insurance coverage?

Yes, we provide insurance coverage for all our rental scooter motorbikes and cars and it is included in the final price. Our insurance covers you for third-party liability and damage to the vehicle. However, there is an excess amount that you will be responsible for in case of an accident or damage to the vehicle. The excess amount varies depending on the type of vehicle you rent, and you will be informed about the excess amount before you sign the rental agreement.

Please note that our insurance coverage is void if the driver is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, driving recklessly, or not following traffic rules and regulations. In case of an accident, it is important to inform us immediately and file a police report. If the damage is significant, we will provide you with a replacement vehicle while the damaged one is being repaired.

Are there any hidden charges or fees?

No, there are no hidden charges or fees when you rent a scooter motorbike or a car from us. The price you see on our website or receive from our staff includes everything - the vehicle rental cost, all accessories and extras, and insurance coverage.

You can rest assured that there will be no surprises or additional charges when you return the vehicle. We believe in providing transparent and fair pricing to our customers, so you can enjoy your rental experience without any worries.

How often do you maintain the vehicles?

We take great care of our motorbike scooters and cars to ensure that our vehicles are in excellent condition and provide a safe and enjoyable ride for our customers. All of our vehicles go through one main service at the beginning of the season, and our technical department checks everything again immediately after each rental. This ensures that the scooters are in top condition for each new customer.

We guarantee quality, and our vehicles are all brand new. You can be confident that you're getting a reliable and well-maintained vehicle when you rent from us.

What is the process for returning a vehicle?

Returning your vehicle is a simple and fast process. On the date of the drop-off, we will meet you at the designated location to check the bike and ensure that it is in the same condition you received it in. This is just a quick inspection to make sure that everything is in order.

Once we have confirmed that the rental vehicle is in good condition, you are free to go in no time. Our goal is to make the return process as easy and stress-free as possible, so you can focus on enjoying the rest of your trip without any worries.

What are the payment options for renting a vehicle in Paros?

We offer two convenient payment options for renting a vehicle. Depending on your preference, you can pay with your bank card or in cash. We understand everyone has different payment preferences, so we want to make the process as flexible as possible.

Remember, you must pay an upfront payment to reserve your scooter. Once you book your vehicle online, we will contact you with such details. The final payment can be completed on the day of the scooter pick-up with cash, bank card, or bank transfer.

Do you have helmets available?

Yes, at no additional cost. We take the safety of our customers seriously and provide helmets for both the driver and passenger of the scooter. We understand that helmets are a crucial part of safe driving and we make sure that all our helmets are new, clean, and in excellent condition.

We also have a strict disinfection process that we follow for each helmet immediately after a rental has ended. This ensures that you will get a helmet in mint condition, clean and fresh. We want you to have a pleasant and safe experience while riding our scooters, and providing you with high-quality helmets is just one of the ways we ensure your safety.

How many miles are included per day of rental?

At Rent Moto GP Paros, we offer unlimited mileage for each day of rental. We believe that you should be able to enjoy your ride around Paros or Antiparos without worrying about any mileage limits. Therefore, you don't need to keep track of your distance or pay extra fees for additional miles. Just relax and explore the beautiful islands at your own pace. What should I do in case of a breakdown?

At Rent Moto GP Paros, we understand that unexpected events can happen, which is why we are always prepared to assist you in case of a breakdown. If you experience any issues with your scooter or car during your rental period, simply give us a call and we will do everything we can to help. Our technical team is always ready to fix any problems on the spot.

In the rare case where a problem cannot be resolved immediately, we will replace your vehicle with a new one at no additional charge, so you can continue to enjoy your time on the road worry-free. What happens if I get into an accident?

We understand that accidents can happen even to the most cautious riders, and your safety is our top priority. If you get into an accident while using one of our rental scooters, please call us right away. We are available 24/7 to assist you, and we will do everything we can to help you through the situation.

All of our rental vehicles come with insurance coverage that protects you and your passenger.  If an accident occurs and you are found to be at fault, the insurance will not cover any damages or injuries that may result.

We also encourage you to follow all traffic laws and ride responsibly to minimize the risk of accidents. Remember to always wear your helmet and be aware of your surroundings while riding. Last, never drive if you have consumed alcohol or drugs.

What are the number to call in an emergency?

In any unforeseen circumstances while visiting Paros, it's always important to know the emergency services contact numbers. Although we hope for a safe and trouble-free trip, it's better to be prepared.

All the 3 digit emergency numbers can be reached from all devices, no matter the carrier. The 122 can even be reached without a sim card in the phone.

What is the cancellation policy for rented scooters and cars?

Due to the high demand, our rental schedule is tight, especially during the summer. Therefore, all the bookings are “Non Refundable Bookings” and cannot be refunded. However, we will gladly transfer the rental contract to one of your loved ones or friends.

Please let us know in advance, and we will arrange everything for you with no hustle and no extra cost. ​​​No refunds will be processed in case of the suspension of the rental agreement due to the driver's ​delinquent behavior.

Can I extend my rental period after it has already begun?

Yes, you can extend your rental period as long as the vehicle is available. We understand that sometimes your plans may change, and we are more than happy to continue providing you with the vehicle to further explore the beautiful island of Paros. Simply contact us as soon as possible to check for availability, and we will do our best to find a solution that fits your needs.

Can I ride to other islands or cities?

The safety and well-being of our customers is our top priority. Therefore, we do not allow our vehicles to be driven outside of Paros and Antiparos. However, if you inform us in advance about your desire to visit a nearby island, we may be able to make special arrangements. Please note that this is subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

What is the fuel policy for rented scooter motorbikes and cars?

All the vehicles are delivered with fuel levels of about 1/4, 2/4, 3/4, or full tank 4/4. The renter must return the vehicle with the same fuel level as delivered. If the renter returns the vehicle with less fuel than was delivered, the renter will be charged the fuel difference. Please remember there is no refund if the renter returns the vehicle with more fuel than was delivered.
